Soothing to itchy skin
I recently started using Coat Defense Daily Preventative Powder for my dogâs itchy skin, and it has made a noticeable difference. Itâs incredibly easy to apply â the powder shakes out a little clumpy but I then use a large makeup brush to spread it around and it covers problem areas without creating a mess. I really appreciate that it has a light, clean scent that is not overpowering, which my dog doesnât seem to mind at all. Most importantly, itâs been very effective. Within a few days, my dogâs constant scratching had decreased significantly, and the irritated spots started to clear up. I also like that it can be used preventatively, not just when issues flare up. Highly recommend for dogs with sensitive or itchy skin!

It is good product and working.
This is really helpful and right now my dog is feeling calm no scratching anymore when we started with small amount on spine area and slowly spread it with hair brush all over body specially -side ways. taking every steps slowly -not able to put it on legs ( sometime licks.) so not sure if it is safe.Hopefully it will go away soon.No smell and it is good skin care product for Spaniel.

It’s working I’m shocked but so happy.
THE BEST! Here’s why: my dog suffers terribly with seasonal allergies (late summer). He will chew his paws bloody. We tried everything: expensive prescriptions, food change, spa treatments, boots, and unfortunately, we would have to use the cone of shame. This year I stocked up on things to try. Coat Defense was one because I thought I could sprinkle it. After all, he doesn’t like his paws rubbed when they hurt. Late August arrived the chewing began! I set off to try my arsenal of stuff. OMG, this powder works. I give him one Benadryl and use the powder lightly on his paws. I dumped it into a bowl and used a large makeup brush, he doesn’t mind. I just swirl it deep into the hair and pads. I normally don’t find I need to use it often throughout the day. It works not because it has a horrible smell or taste that the dog gets even more tortured by, like some I tried. It’s odorless light he doesn’t mind. He really still has hair on his paws this year. I couldn’t be happier and neither could my boy. Every dog is different but try it. It saved Wally after years of end-of-summer torture. It might save your pup.

It’s worth a try
I didn’t notice any improvement in my dog’s constant licking of his feet with using this product. As one reviewer did, I used a make up brush to apply the powder to his itchy spots like his feet and belly. It did not cause any additional irritation but it didn’t seem to do much for his itchiness. This might be better for dogs with floppy ears to keep them dry and itch free. There was no scent and it was easy to apply using the make up brush. I’m giving this one a neutral rating as it may just not be the ideal product for my particular dog’s issues but may work great for another’s.

This is all you’ll ever need for red, itchy spots.
So i have labs which I’ve learned means allergies and hot spots and drippy eyes and redish ears. This product has eliminated red ears and just about eliminated hot spot arm pits and leg/neck folds. It’s light weight and a little goes a very long way. I put a little in a bowl and use a makeup brush dedicated to my pups. They didn’t like it at first but they now lean into the brush, especially and surprisingly, in their ears as well. Very good product, I recommend to all dogs, even those less or more itchy than mine! Thank you!

Natural product that works
My dog has been getting yeast and bacterial ear infections for over a year now but after just weeks she no longer smells like Fritos and has stopped shaking her head i like that this is a natural product too
