Wagner’s Striped Sunflower Seed is preferred by larger songbirds. Sunflower seed is the favorite seed of most wild birds and striped sunflower seeds will attract larger songbirds because they have larger and thicker shells, making it harder for smaller birds to process. Use tray feeders or hopper feeders to attract larger sunflower loving songbirds, Cardinals, Jays, Woodpeckers, Titmice and more. Trust your backyard birds to the experts at Wagner’s.
A favorite of songbirds everywhere particularly large beaked birds such as Jays, Cardinals and Grosbeaks
Can be fed in a tray, hopper, or platform feeders
Highest quality grains used in blending
For use with Wild Birds only; not for caged or pet birds
Made in the USA

The seeds receive positive feedback for their quality and freshness, with one customer noting they’re mostly intact, and customers find it to be good value. Good Quality Seed
Good seed as Wagner’s generally is. It was fresh and no real excess powder if you k now what I mean. I will stick with Wagner’s worth the money always.

Great value, my loyal cardinal pairs return everyday for this!
I have two pairs of cardinals that absolutely love these seeds! The chickadees, blue jays, and squirrels love them as well. This seed arrived free from any tears as it was packaged mindfully and was super fresh! I mix this seed with Wagner’s safflower seed to deter the squirrels and mobs of starlings and sparrows from eating all of the bird food. This way everyone can be fed in harmony!

    Wagner’s v Schoen Sunflower Seeds
My RATS won’t eat them. I usually get Schoen sunflower seeds but thought I’d give these a try since the price was good. They are very tiny and, to clarify, my ‘INDOOR RATS’ don’t like them. The outdoor critters eat them but I’ll stick with Schoen for my pets. The birds, rabbits, outdoor rats, tree squirrels, ground squirrels, and all the rest love them!!

Keeps my yard full of squirrels and birds!
I sprinkle a little of this out every morning for the squirrels and birds to keep my cat entertained, and it works! The wildlife loves this, and they keep her entertained for hours (watching through the window) and out of my hair. It’s a win-win!

    Good for wild birds
We bought them for our house parrots and macaw and are smaller than the ones we used to get but are unavailable now. Our birds will eat them but they are in the small size. It appears the flavor is adequate because the birds eat them everyday.

    Wow!
I had been using another brand of seeds for a long time since I bought large quantities, and I was getting a couple of birds and lots of squirrels. I started putting this out after I ran out of the other brand, and suddenly my yard is a partyzone for gorgeous varieties of birds that I haven’t seen before (and definitely the ones who frequent my yard). They are literally fighting over this seed. I am disappointed to come back to buy more and they are sold out 🙁
