Customers say
Customers find the fly strips effective, particularly for fruit flies, and appreciate their quality, with one noting they’re better than plastic swatters. The strips are very sticky, making them difficult to remove from windows, and customers report issues with them falling apart before hanging and being hard to unwind. While some find them easy to use and consider them good value for money, others report they don’t catch any flies and consider them a waste of money.

Sticky, sticky, sticky.
Very sticky. Best to wear rubber gloves when handling. Pins are a bit delicate, but work OK. Work as desired.

Great solution!
Easy to use, and effectively catches flies! This time of year we get so many flies and using these traps helps a lot! Light-weight and no odor. Great product!

They work, but really really sticky
These fly traps do work well, catch a great amount of flies. However they are truly sticky and hard to deal with sometimes. You need to know where you are hanging before you open. Also, don’t hang anywhere they can get on something you don’t want it on.

I was expecting this product to do a better job of ridding the fly’s from my home. I’ve had three of them up for the bothersome flies in my house for a week now. I am tired of swatting at flies They have NOT captured a single mosquito, gnat, or fly since they have been up. It must have a repellent on it; however, I put one a couple of feet outside my back door on my deck, and it’s almost full within days of gnats and flies. My rating is based on how well this indoor Fly strip is working outside on my deckUpdated pics of indoor and outdoor stripes. One indoors is two weeks old, with not one fly or gnat, but the one outdoors is within four feet of my door and only days old; the one outdoors is the second one I put up in two weeks becausethe other one was full…Second update: the fly stripe on the inside is still clear; there is nothing on it after a month hanging up. But about to change the one for the third time due to it being full of gnats and flies…

These work!
I had a fruit fly infestation, apple cider vinegar in cups caught very few and they happily continued laying their eggs in my plants, so I purchased these. They work, but be really careful handling them – keep some oil on hand because glue WILL get on you somewhere (I used lemon oil furniture polish to get it off of our fingers). They, along with the butterfly shaped ones in the plant pots, have trapped most of them, so the problem will be solved shortly!

Updated review, manufacture is responsive and helpful.
I left my initial review asterisked below. I complained about the ease of use (or lack thereof) and it’s effectiveness. Over time, the traps did catch some bugs, but I figured out a nice trick-If you install these near a bright light source, the bugs fly right into it. These traps are very sticky, so once they get stuck to it, they’re stuck for good. The stickiness is also a double-edged sword. As it is still difficult to unroll these. You need to do it patiently and slowly, or else you will rip the trap. Once I left my review, the manufacturer actually reached out to me and offered to correct the issue. I feel like that is an upstanding move on their part for actively reading customer reviews and reaching out to them. Are they the best traps? No, but they also are priced accordingly. And pairing these up with a bright light source, they do work. But if that’s not an option, I can see how these can be frustrating to use.*I have four of them placed throughout my house. Two alone are in the basement where the majority of bugs fly and hangout. Not a single trap has caught anything. They have no scent to them, I’m not sure what they do to “attract” the insects to them. Instead, you just hope that you place these in the random flight path of the bugs and catch them out of pure luck.On top of them not trapping anything, they are insanely tacky. I understand this is great to an extent, once a bug is caught, it’s caught. But trying to open these takes care. If you pull them apart too quickly, they will rip in half. Pull them apart slowly and have to twist as you pull, or the trap will “close in” on itself rendering it useless. The hanging loops are covered in the sticky adhesive, so be prepared to get the glue all over you unless you wear gloves. All in all, they’re a waste of money. Money doesn’t spend like it used to, so avoid these, and save yours.
