MAIN FEATURES This Critter Keeper manufactured by Nakaya Chemical Industry in Japan is made of polystyrene, which is characterized by high transparency and durability. The heat-resistant temperature is 158°F for the transparent part and 248°F for the lid and handle.

Great for kids
My 2 year olds favorite thing to do is catch worms and bugs, this container is perfect for him to use. Easy enough for him to open himself and a great size for him to carry around. very durable and comes at a good cost.

Good quality.
These are nice and thick much better quality than I expected them to be. I dropped one a couple times and it hasnât even cracked. The one thing that I was impressed with was the size. It looks really large in the pictures but when it came, it was perfect size for keeping little tiny insects for investigation. I thought they were really huge. Theyâre probably more like 8 inches across and maybe 5 inches deep and probably about 8 inches high.

Critter carrying capabilities
One of the clips to hold the lid on broke, other than that theyâve held up to young children. The plastic is pretty unforgiving for cracks as the first one we ordered came broken.

Sturdy & snug
Bought as a âhabitatâ for my 3yr old grandsonâs 3D printed plastic dragons. At 3 yrs old, imaginary critters are far more manageable than live critters at this age. Everything fits snug and works wonderfully however kinetic sand etches the plastic leaving it appearing foggy.

Quite fragile
I ordered these for my grandson as I had these with my own children years ago. They are smaller than I would have liked but that is not a big issue. Unfortunately, the tops broke almost immediately on both cages which was very disappointing. The ones my kids had when they were young lasted for years; through many a vacation with all types of sea and land critters and day to day use. They donât make them like they used to. Bummer
