Basking light for pet reptiles that require.
This lightbulb is used for basking and uva for pet reptiles that require daylight. Seems to work good, Iâve never used this brand before but it generates a lot of light and for a 50 watt bulb puts out the needed heat to keep my little lizard warm. Well worth the money, and as far as I can tell for the time Iâve used it itâs durable and hopefully has a good lifespan

Perfect replacement
Used these to replace a red heat lamp, light quality.is good and less intrusive during my sleeping hours. Standard light bulb size, 60w. 2 bulbs for a decent price so if I have to replace it im happy to have another. Functions better than my red heat bulb as it creates a more natural night color. Came packed in foam in the box, so I didnt have to worry that they would break like with standard cardboard packing. Looks as durable as any other light bulb

Updated review!! one of the bulbs lasted less than 2 weeks
First of two bulbs lasted less than 2 weeks. put the second one in yesterday, will see how long it lasts. Find another product, their “Long Service Life” claim is just plain BS. UPDATE The vendor reached out and offered a refund for the bulbs. Their response (over Christmas holiday even) warrants me changing my review to 4 star based on amazing vendor response. Second bulb is still working, perhaps 1st one was a fluke.

It did what I needed it to do.
So far, so good. A single bulb keeps my 20-long terrarium at about 85º on the warm side of the tank, and about 75 or so, on the cooler side. I can’t speak on the lifespan, just yet, as I’ve only had it for about a month, but it does stay on for about 14 hours/day, so 420 hours in, it’s still going strong!

Bulbs died SUPER fast
These bulbs individually only lasted about a month each. They are only ever on for 8-9 hours a day at night. My day light bulb from a different brand has lasted over 2 months and that’s on 12 hours a day. DON’T buy these bulbs.
