Great product
Love this stuff. Makes my fish very happy. Highly recommend

40 years of fish, 13 tanks, big beautiful fish.
This is the closest additive you can get to simulate the natural habitat of Bettas and koi. Added to spring water, your fish will love it and if you change your water by at least one quarter each week, it will help your fish stay stress free. Your tank will last longer between total cleaning. Cheaper too than buying better water.

Great if you have South American fish
I have Angels , Rams, Discus and this helps condition the water and keep the fish healthy

Great product but needs a bigger quantity
I like the product but I wish they had it in bigger bottles, the reason itâs in a small bottle is cause people keep bettas in small tanks well I have a 10 gallon and 2 bottles is how much I would need to meet the dosage …buttt this is a very good product and I highly recommend it if you have a small aquarium like 5 or less gallons

I wish they made a bigger bottle.
My fish did like this, and itâs easier than dealing with rotting leaves, but you go through the bottle really fast if you have 5-10 gallons to treat. I would order more, but itâs not cost effective. Iâll just deal with the leaves.

You will need many more bottles if you truly want a dark water tank.
For a 20-gallon tank (which I have) you will be like 4+ of this bottle to make it a dark water tank. If you have shrimps, I would recommend the catappa leaves. It might be slower at making your tank dark water but then the leaves can be some source of food for your shrimps.

Our shrimp like it.
This is our Stoplight Shrimp Aquascape 10 gallon cube tank. We have red, blue and yellow Neocaridina shrimp. My husband will puts 2 cap fulls in when he does his water changes. It will tint the water and shrimp like it.

Very pleased at the health of my aquatic life with this product. After giving it a long time to properly view and calculate results, Iâm very happy to recommend this product to others with comparable species, to both seasoned aquarists and especially to beginners that may never have had someone share different knowledge and its options.I would request there was an option to buy this in a larger quantity. Not only to save money, but for us that needs lot on regular basis.^^

My betta, Edward Scissorfins, looked a bit sick when i got him, but since adding dark water, he has become lively, active and feisty!

My betta fish likes the tannins, but honestly they’re not very concentrated and it takes quite a lot of this to even colour the water in his 10 gallon. I think a better bang for your buck would be to buy a cheap piece of shrimp wood and just boil that when you need to top up.

An entire bottle is only a dose for 28 gallons and after a month of waiting for it dumping the entire thing in my 30 gallon felt like a waste of time especially because it didnât even darken the water, youâre better off with alder cones and catappa leaves especially for the wait and results
