Customers say

Customers find the thermometer easy to use and appreciate its great battery life, with one mentioning it’s perfect for monitoring multiple growing chambers. However, the accuracy and functionality receive mixed feedback – while some find it very accurate and works great, others report it’s not accurate at all and doesn’t function appropriately. Moreover, the humidity readings are also mixed, with some finding them useful while others report inaccurate readings. The quality and value for money receive mixed reviews, with some describing it as excellent and a great value, while others find it cheap and a waste of money.

great value !! worked right out of the box.
We weren’t sure if our AC was really reducing the humidity on hot swampy days. So I bought these put one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Each room is showing reduction in humidity when the AC runs and the temps and relative humidity are easy to see. And….the price was very reasonable. One of our better buys from Amazon

Useful for other than for the fish tank.
During blackout, you can check your fridge’s or freezer’s temperature without open it. If temperature getting higher than supposed to be, get some bag of ice and put them in a fridge or freezer or both of them.

    Good for a general idea
Not the most accurate by any means. But it is plus or minus 2 to 8 degrees in temp and way off on the humidity.

Accurate and PERFECT for guitar cases
I have a few nicer guitars (including two that are solid wood pieces, not composite or multi-wood that is laminated). One is an acoustic and one an archtop. I wanted to monitor humidity while I have my humidity packs in and with them out. BUT I didn’t want a bouncing around and hitting my guitars.I’ve tried several with Velcro, but they just don’t stay put. These have the sensor on a nice wire with a sensor nib at the end. I can put the display in the accessories compartment and then just leave the nib sticking out of that compartment. PERFECT!These are really a nice solution for guitar players that don’t want things bouncing around their cases. 🙂

    Ok product
Works…not really accurate…both units read different Temps in the same room…each is of by about 4 to 5 degrees

    Excellent!
Excellent overall. The only thing I can complain is that the device don’t have an on-off switch, It is necessary to save battery.

    Inaccurate humidity readings
Placed next to each other, a four pack shows several percent difference in humidity. One of them read 90% and the one next to it 51%. The remaining sensors are also reading 10% lower humidity than every other device I have. The Amazon air quality sensor, a Logia weather station, and Honeywell thermostat room sensor all produce accurate readings with little to no variation by comparison.

    Gun safe monitoring
I’ve had these on my gun safe for over 5 years now. Since my safe is in a non heated garage I need to know temp & humidity. Both read the same. Humidity always stays under 50% heat never goes below 32 degrees

Came already on and reading is off. They can lie next to each other and give a reading of 4-5 degrees difference

The set have been reading different Temps and humidity. Not great if you care about your reptiles health. If they were accurate they would be great.

I have these in my chicken incubator. I find them very easy to use and seems to be pretty accurate.

These temperature / humidity gauges are really inaccurate, especially when it comes to humidity. I allowed them to sit in exactly the same spot over a couple of hours & laughed more than once when checking them. Humidity levels, according to these less-than-stellar devices, fluctuate incredibly in that same spot all next to each other. I didn’t move them even once. This was indoors. I did check them outdoors as well, which wasn’t any better. If checking temperature, they’re fairly close in terms of temperature range, but are still not accurate by any stretch of the imagination. If you require strict accuracy in humidity measurements, I wouldn’t touch these with a ten foot pole. They’d be useless. Temperature measurements are definitely a little better but again, if you require accuracy, give these puppies a hard pass.Value for money? 😂 They’re ridiculously bad, at any price. Fortunately, I kind of expected that & am only using them to measure approximate temps in my polytunnels before planting certain things come spring. That being said, I’m probably going to return them because I don’t expect them to last for even a year. I’m guessing that, based on there being no rubber gaskets within the battery compartment, they’ll crap out fast inside a damp, humid polytunnel. In addition, another issue, they come with the batteries already active. Who knows how long they’ve been sitting in the units while being shipped from country to country & sitting in boxes in various warehouses, shipping containers & trucks before they get to Amazon. That really made me unhappy.Amazon is allowing too much cheap Chinese rubbish to be shlocked through their online marketplace lately, with absolutely no control over what they’re accepting as quality products. Sloppy & inexcusable.
