Fun simple base toy but poor build quality on top part
The bottom part of this toy is decent and works well for my pets. Both my cat and dog enjoy playing with it, and I like that the base looks clean without any bright colors or patterns. The small size actually works in my case since my cat is still a kitten and my dogs are small.The problem is with the top part where the rods spin. It was wobbly right from the start, and one of the rope rods broke off quickly. I donât have a bird and my pets werenât using that part anyway, so it wasnât a big loss, but it shows the build quality isnât great.Overall, the base toy is fun and simple, but the construction on the upper section makes the product feel cheaply made.

Concerned about potential paint toxicity
Iâm not super impressed with this. It didnât come with instructions but was easy to assemble. The stand itself was bolted into the wood cube that the arms attach to, and that was sent incorrectly assembled at an angle. Iâm also worried about how bird-safe the paint is on the balls – it doesnât look like any bird safe dye Iâve seen before and the gloss makes me worried that it would be dangerous if a bird ingested it. The description says itâs non-toxic but I donât trust my birdâs lives with it until the seller updates what it is actually made of, because my budgies love to chew on everything. If yours donât chew, this is an OK option.That being said, I like that it comes with the option to use it as a stand or attach it to the bars, and the cord wrapped around the arms seemed to be securely attached without any exposed glue. The ends are fraying a bit but my budgies would have gone to town on that.One thing to note: I wouldnât purchase this for a bird bigger than a budgie/parakeet because itâs too small even for a cockatiel. The perches are just too short.

Nice perch but arrived broken
This is a bird stand/perch made from lightweight composite wood. The perches are wrapped with yarn and capped with a colorful ball. The stand components screw into metal fittings in the base and body, rather than into the bare wood, which is a best-practice in perch construction. All hardware is included.However, the stand base arrived broken, having split lengthwise by the wood grain. Unfortunate.Overall this would be an excellent stand for small birds, such as budgies, cockatiels, or lovebirds. I might put a Senegal parrot on it. But nothing bigger than that.
