Finally, a LARGE rabbit litter box!
For years, I’ve been using the jumbo scatterless litter boxes from Ware for my Holland lop rabbits. Recently, I needed a litter box with a shallow entry for a bunny who was having surgery, and this was the only one that was both shallow enough AND large enough for a rabbit (my rabbits are 3-5 pounds), a pile of hay, and a plenty of room for a bunny butt.Although ridiculously overpriced for a plastic bin with grate, I have to say that the plastic is very thick, smooth, and appears to be durable. I like that the mesh grate is made of wide plastic rungs instead of metal so it’s easier on the bunny’s feet but still spaced wide enough to allow most poops through. The grate latches a bit at the front and is easy to left for cleaning, and I appreciate that there is no annoying slide-out tray to accumulate urine or mashed cecotropes (wet, tiny bunny poops).Overall, my only minor gripes are the lack of a way to attach this to an enclosure (no clips) and the massive cost. Considering the quality of the litter box, plastic grate, and extremely generous size, I am pleased with my purchase even though my wallet is quite empty now.

The best. Hands down
I purchased this box 6 months ago and it has been used 24/7 since then. The pictures were taken today. This is a great litter box for my bunny. She is an 8 pound Rex. She always pees in the same corner and I have positioned her hay over it as well. This is necessary so she can eat hay while she poops, which is when bunnies typically poop. The walls are high enough and she has never sprayed out of the box. I have tried all types of litter (compressed paper pellets, cat litter pellets, pine shavings, compressed pine, pee pad liners). I always come back to compressed pine for its super absorbency and odor control. I always ask guests if they can smell my rabbit cage and they do not smell an odor. For cleaning, you MUST rinse off the grates DAILY, using your fingers or a small rag to knock of the film in all the nooks and crannies. Urine sticks and solidifies on surfaces vey quickly. As a tip, you can use a vary small amount of Vaseline to rub as a barrier on the grates in the places your bunny typically pees, as well as on the bottom of the box where they pee. It take a very small amount and has never harmed my bunny. For the box, I use the compressed pine in the area she pees. Itâs not necessary to fill the box unless you have multiple bunnies. Make sure to wipe or rinse the film out of the box daily as well. For superior cleaning, use the pee pad in combination with the compressed pine. My bunny has zero stains on her feet and the grate is gentle enough not to cause any sore areas on her feet. I will definitely be buying this again in the future and would love to see it in more fun color combinations!

These are the best for keeping rabbits feet clean and our rabbits don’t make as much of a mess.
Less mess because your pet will not be directly stepping onto the litter.This is the best litter box that we have tried.

Quick to clean
This bunny litter box is the best and I have bought a second one for another spot. It is easy to clean, the lid lifts right up with no mess. It keeps their little paws clean from the mess. I was using one with a drawer style and that was a pain to clean and wash everytime.Bonus is that they sell the pee pads that fit perfectly , another time saver.

Biggest grid box on the market and a good product, but overpriced.
I bought this box because it was the largest (in area) litter box with a grid that I can find. I don’t know how big my rabbit is going to get so I wanted something large. I think the price is ridiculous but in the end I paid it rather than spend the time building my own. The box arrived today and I am impressed with the construction. It is a “shiny” plastic that I hope will be easy to keep clean. I love that the grate is rounded and soft, that’s great for my rabbit’s feet.I was disappointed to receive a PEACH litter box rather than a blue one as shown in the photos. The blue matched my house better and I can’t find anything in the listing that says the buyer will receive a random color.The underside of the grid has lots of little cavities making it hard to clean. The rest of the box is easier to clean. I line it with a puppy pad.I really wish this was deeper- more capacity under the grid would make it perfect. I have to clean it fairly often. Please make a deeper one!

Expensive but so worth it!!!
Expensive but 100% worth it for my rabbit. It seems comfortable for them and the grate isn’t sharp. It keeps my rabbit from sitting on his litter while eating hay.My current setup is having this box as the one he eats hay in (I have a small hay bag hanging over one side) and then a smaller normal litter box since he continues to want to pee on things that are soft. This works out great as he only sits in the other litterbox for a short amount of time and spends most of his time eating hay at this one. It has cut down on the mess of flinging litter everywhere too (thank goodness!!).It’s rather large too. I have a holland lop rabbit and he would take up half the litter box if he’s loafed in it. So there’s plenty of room to have a hay bag (I have it hanging over the side so he has plenty of room to stand completely in the litterbox whole eating). I love the high walls too, which keeps the hay in.If your rabbit has a problem with mats or pee staining, or you just need a cleaner setup, I highly recommend this litterbox. It’s expensive but so so worth it.

Still a messy litter box 🙁
Not easier, or cleaner. In fact, my two bunnies made such a huge mess with their pee on it Iâm looking at a lot of scrubbing today. They are litter box trained, but peed all over the floor in protest of this litter box. Iâll be returning it. I really wanted to like this product.It is very sturdy, and the concept is great. I have two standard buns, and they both can just barely fit in at the same time. Our normal litter box is 19âx15âx5â and they donât have any problems.

This litter box is just what I was looking for. My 10 yrs old rabbit has arthritis and was unable to get into the old litterbox and started peeing everywhere. Now, I have no more issues. I love the sturdinest of the plastic and it is large! The grate is plastic and it doesn’t hurt her hocks. You will be very please with this purchase even if it is way overpriced. I will purchase another one for my other rabbit I love it so much.

These litter boxes work really well! My buns are large and they look small sitting in them lol. Very easy to clean, good quality safe plastic and I really like how the grate is slightly bubbled so urine doesnât pool keeping my bunnies feet nice and clean. Items arrived sooner than expected and packaged well. Iâve placed the boxes in a low Rubbermaid bin just to contain hay inside. 100% happy with my purchasesð¥°ð
