Customers say
Customers find the peanut suet nuggets attractive to various birds, particularly woodpeckers and nuthatches, and appreciate that they’re less messy than traditional suet cakes. The product is easy to use, with customers noting it’s easy to pour and refill feeders, and they consider it good value for money. While many customers report their birds eat the nuggets quickly, some mention their birds won’t touch them at all.

Good value for suet, birds like it
This is called a woodpecker blend yet has similar ingredients to C&S’s other “suet peanut” offerings. Since this one is the least expensive, we settled on it. My 90 yr old mom goes though a box every 3-4 weeks and I go through a little less (but have fewer feeders). All the birds seem to like it, especially as the cold settles in. The high fat is good for the birds when it’s cold and these peanuts are much more convenient and sized to measure, blend and mix into standard feeders. Always appears fresh and comes in a re-sealable plastic bag to stay that way. C&S is a quality brand.

I’m a Bird Watcher!
Birds love these!!! I have a Bird Snap camera. So I can see which birds like which foods. These little nuggets are a popular treat for all my feathered friends. They are not messy, and even ordering in the heat of the summer they do not mush together like regular suet. They do not break apart, have no funky smell. These are a not descript tan and they must taste good because these birdies gobble them up. So much easier to use than the messy, sticky suet. These work out perfect in all my bird feeders.

The birds love this suet more than any other feeder in the yard
The birds just cannot get enough of this suet. It draws in the nuthatches, hairy woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, red bellied woodpeckers, pileated woodpeckers, grosbeaks, chickadees, finches and even a few orioles. I am so thankful to have found this suet in a larger quantity for an affordable price because the birds truly do not leave the feeder that holds this suet alone.

No Mess and Woodpeckers Love Them
I buy these nuggets for my woodpeckers and have them on a subscription for regular delivery. First, the birdies absolutely love them! They can land on the feeder, grab a nugget and go. There’s just no comparison when it comes to the advantages of nuggets over suet blocks. These have no mess, don’t go rancid, don’t require the birds to hang on a grate to peck at a block and are easy to store and dispense. Not that this really matters, but they also smell delicious! I get the peanut butter flavor. I’ve been using this product for a couple of years and couldn’t be happier with it.

Disappointing price increase
My birds love the nuggets and Iâve repurchased several times. I only gave the product 4 stars because the price went up quite a bit so Iâm unhappy and not sure if Iâll order them again. Iâll probably buy them at Walmart.

Photo shows the bottom of the bag – no crumbs!
I usually buy these nuggets at Walmart for $5 (1 lb bag) but I go through them fast so I got these on subscribe and save instead. Itâs one big 8 lb resealable bag which I like because it makes it easier. I use a funnel with a open/close mechanism for easy filling.I saw a review that showed there were a lot of crumbs in the bottom of the bag but mine had NO crumbs! It was all nuggets. My birds love peanut suet cakes and nuggets most so I use those plus a feeder with seed. I have a family of Woodpeckers that only eat peanut suet. Great deal for the size.

Great value
The birds love these. They are sooo reasonably priced that we can afford to always have them on hand. Most of the birds, especially woodpeckers (nuthatches, red bellied, downy and hairy are regulars) will always come for these. The nuggets are of great quality. They stay together yet soft enough that even the song birds can eat them. They seem to be fresh with no signs of having been stored for long. And, most importantly, the birds love the taste.

Great value; neat and tidy, birds love it!
Much better value than the small packs! Our girls have already pecked a hole in the bag! Our hens love the pellets. The are soft enough for the smaller hens to easily pick apart, the big boy swallows his whole. We feed this indoors; as we have jays and cardinals and other birds who seem to love them too! (We don’t want them socializing this summer)

Very popular with my backyard birds (blue jays, mourning doves, chickadees, etc). I just put a handfull on my patio and watch dozens of them clean everything out in minutes! Perfect for winter feeding.I have also tried the berry flavor (well, the birds have), but the peanut flavor is, by far, the most popular with the birds species that visit my neighborhood.

The birds seems to enjoy it.

5 stars from the Blue Jays, White-breasted Nuthatches and Woodpeckers, and no stars from the Black-capped Chickadees. The chickadees would rather starve than eat these nuggets although they love C&S Peanut Suet.Mixed with shelled peanuts in a tube feeder or loose on a platform feeder they will disappear within no time.

Just got today. Going to save it for winter use. too many black birds around here at present. Not feeding them.
