Works great for large cats!
I have a huge and massively furry domestic long hair cat. Weâve struggled with mats that make it really difficult to brush him. The cat brushes Iâve bought in the past have been tiny compared to him. This one is the prefect size. The bristles have a soft tip so they can help remove the tangled and dead hair without irrigating his skin. They helped with the mats without seeming to bother him much. The brush itself is well made with a comfortable handle. Itâs easy to clear out the shedded hair too!!

I don’t do reviews but THIS is the best dog brush EVER! I have a German Shepherd in AZ going through extreme heat shed. He loves this brush and the self cleaning feature is like magic. Makes grooming so much easier! So far brush is holding up! â¤ï¸

Best Dog Brush for long or short haired dogs
I previously had a similar brush, but donated all supplies to a rescue when both my dogs (14&15) passed at different times in 2024. I adopted a senior rescue English Foxhound mix in June 2025. Her coat is so different from my two Lab retriever mix dogs. I had this type of brush previously and continued to look for another one. Bought one at local pet store, but it was a poor quality brush so I returned. I saw this on Amazon and decided to try after searching through several and reading all reviews. When the OEFEO self cleaning slicker brush arrived I immediately brushed my dog in gentle strokes. She loves to be brushed. There is no difficulty in removing hair from brush. Push the button, bristles retract and all fur drops off. Instantly clean and no mess. This is THE BEST DOG BRUSH! You will not be disappointed with your purchase and neither will your furry baby. Iâve attached a photo of my 9+ year old senior girl and also my senior boy & senior girl who passed in 2024, one in January & the other in June. I wanted to show the different type coats of my babies. No matter the type of fur, this is the best brush to buy.I hope this review helps to make a decision in your purchase.

Great brush for long haired dogs
I always thought of this style brush as a cat brush, but lost my dog brushes and wanted to try something different, so I ordered this. I love it! I have a Golden Retriever and a Lab-Chow mix, both with different coats, but both long and both big shedders. It’s amazing how the small metal bristles were able to gently work at mats, and it’s pretty cool to push the button and have the hair come off in one big clump, a big time saver. Works great, and leaves my dogs fur looking shinier and smoother than my standard metal brush or the FURminator. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t give up the FURminator, but I’m happy to add this to my collection.

Greatest Dog Brush
I couldn’t be happier. I have a half border Collie and Australian Shepherd who sheds terribly. I use to spend more time cleaning out the brush than I did brushing him. With this I brush push the release button and every bit of hair comes off and it’s ready to go again. What use to take almost 5 minutes to now about 3 seconds if the trash is located next to you. It’s plenty big enough and doesn’t hurt him like the cheaper metal spike brushed you get at family dollar and places like that. It’s definitely worth the price!

Works great for undercoats
This brush works great on my Corgi . He even seem to enjoy being brushed . It seems gentle , makes coat smooth and shiny . It also keeps hair from flying all over and easy clean up . Very happy with purchase. Love it .
