Way better than those yellow butterfly shaped stickies.
My wife bought a couple types of fruit fly bait traps that included yellow butterfly shaped sticky pads, but none of them worked well. The fruit flies would literally land on them and fly away.So I bought this product and poured a little apple cider vinegar in the small tray. After one day, it caught dozens of fruit flies. The only negative is the product is made of cardboard which absorbs the apple cider vinegar. So probably better to just stick a small piece of fruit in the small tray.All these traps were just treating the symptom. The problem for us was the guinea pig cage which was getting damp from the water bottle dripping when the piggies drink. The fruit flies were breeding in the moisture. So I got rid of the water bottle and now just put a small shallow heavy porcelain water dish. Problem solved. The cage is dry and the flies are gone.

A Definite must have for Gnats!
BEST GNAT TRAP EVER!!!!!! I was having a problem getting the gnats completely out of my house and in just a few days with this, no gnat problem! I kept fighting the problem with other things that promised to rid the gnats but this was the only thing that worked for me and the BEST! I have never had a problem with gnats but for some reason my area was having a problem and everyone around our area was searching for a solution.

Sticky fly tubes
We landed on Maui after more rain than anyone had every seen in many years. The gnats, flies and mosquitoes have been unbelievable. We got these to line the lanai and try to get some relief from all the biters. Overall, they worked fairly well. They are covered in a variety of critters – mostly gnats and a few flies – but even that is helpful. The flies don’t bite – but are annoying and the gnats bite – but not as badly as the mosquitoes. We also used some natural citronella incense sticks and some natural gel traps. Even with all of these, we still are getting bitten! So, it’s just a huge flush of critters that even with all of our methods, we were not able to overcome. Still, I would definitely purchase these sticky tubes again. They report that they are preloaded with an attractant. The color is an attractant along with the black dots. You want to avoid touching the tubes – they are, as intended, exceptionally sticky. They come with very lightweight plastic hooks – which is ok because the tubes and plastic tops and bottoms – are very light. We hung ours above our tallest person’s head – so no one walked into them. We placed 8 of them all around – the tubes closest to lanai lighting caught moths in addition to the gnats, etc. If you hang these you WILL catch critters. The question is – are they enough to make a difference. In my personal opinion – I would purchase them again. Was hoping for fewer bites – but the visible evidence is hard to dispute. Arrived quickly and in good condition along with other things I purchased. We have had them up several weeks – I would say replacing every 30 days or so would be reasonable. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item – your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. Amazing product
These things are fantastic! I have an issue with fruit flies every summer and I usually use those little red apple-shaped traps, which do a decent job but they don’t stop all of the flies. As you can see in the pics, these things catch a ton of them and quickly. I put them out and within 3 days, you see how many it caught. I now see just q or 2 flies now and again. I put some apple cider vinegar in the cup at the bottom and the cardboard tube soaks it up, drawing the flies in. And the tube does not get soggy or soft. Highly recommend these and I will be ordering them again.

So far, no flies have been caught in four days of outdoor use.
I bought these fly traps for outdoor use in my small courtyard where I have three dogs. Lots of flies that congregate where dogs defecate. The traps were hung high so granddaughter cannot touch the traps. I had difficulty in hanging the traps on a windy day. The traps stuck to my face and hands. After 4 days, the traps had a lot of small bugs, and a few mosquitoes, but no flies. I’ll check on the traps next week and see if they catch flies. The flies are still all over the yard, but closer to the ground. I may have to put smelly baits in the traps to attract the flies. Will see what happens in a week.

I just put it out a day ago on a covered porch. So far it snagged gnats but no biting flies. Fingers crossed.

Great Seller, Not So Great Product!
I really don’t like to post a negative review, andI think this might be my First, but the Multipurpose Fly Sticks STATES That it Effectively Catch House Flies, Fruit Flies, Horse Flies, Mosquitoes, Biting Gnats, Moths & Other Flying & Buzzing Bugs for Easy Capture & Kill. Well, I am a little disappointed. I purchased the 4 Pack and although the Seller was Top notch, I cannot say this about this Product.I had four of these placed around the house ⢠2 Bathrooms ⢠Kitchen and Living Room. The Mosquitos that fly in Florida has been really bad lately, especially since The county doesn’t come around with Spraying for about a Year now..(although, not breathing in the Junk they Spray is a Good Thing) These little Flying buggers fly around these brightly Colored Towers are basically of no use to me. Not one Tower had anything stuck on them after being set-up for 4 Days. Very Disappointed, I guess I will have to look for another product. I thought this was my answer, especially after ready the reviews. Not saying it didn’t work for others, BUT for me…It’s a No Go!
