Small and mighty
I loved it so much Iâve bought two! This purchase was my more recent one. I use one in my 20 and 5 gallon tank and it does amazing. I kept a thermometer in there just to keep track if the built in digital thermometer was accurate and surprisingly it was, the temperature alway matched up! The temperature tends to go up a degree or down a degree and partially I believe thatâs due to Caliâs weather lol but besides that, itâs very stable and consistent. Definitely worth the money. I 100% recommend for 20 gallons and under, for bigger tanks I would say it would probably be better if you rely on those long heaters to better distribute the heat more evenly. Also from what Iâve seen, itâs very safe for plants and fishes that stick in surfaces, Iâve seen my hillstream loach and red lizard catfish be on it and not be bothered at all thanks to its protective layer!

Very dependable
I used this to keep the water in my chicken run from freezing. It worked very dependably for the water in the container, but couldn’t keep the water from freezing in the outlet tray. My only complaint is that I think the cord could have been longer. As for the chickens, I’ve since switched to the “Lil’ Clucker” heater which is more appropriate for that purpose.

I really like reading the temp at the heater, not necessarily the whole tank temp, Tank temp, has a lot to do with gallon size in relation to the heater amperage, and the amount circulation of the water, but I am using several of these, in every amperage they offer, I will never go back to the old tube heaters again.Anyone complaining of heater reading a temp different than actual tank water temp, you usually have an undersized heater, with insufficient water circulation. Any heater to perform properly needs forced water circulation to direct the water to circle the tank.

This is a great water heater! We got this heater for our betta fish and his 12 gallon aquarium. The 100 watt heater works great. I love how easy it is to use and install. It takes two suction cups which adhere to the aquarium walls.I really appreciate that this heater is adjustable. You can change the thermostat to your desired temperature. I’m used to seeing smaller heaters like this one, with a set temperature (usually 78 degrees) and you can’t adjust them. This is so much better! I also really appreciate that there are codes which pop up on the thermostat if you encounter issues (such as low water).This heater worked perfectly for our aquarium, and I highly recommend it. You can’t beat the price, either!

Works well in 36 gallon tank
So far it works well. I like that you can set the temperature and see the digital reading on the screen. I have a regular tank thermometer in the tank and it is keeping the temperature right where I want it. I have a 36 gallon tank. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have an up and down button for the temp. It is just one button.

Me gusto mucho ya que como se puede poner en el piso del estanque, mi tortuga no lo rompe. Además calienta perfectamente bien y rápido. Ya llevo varios meses con él y no ha tenido fallas.Solo como tiene los agujerito alrededor del calentador, se le meten las piedritas del estanque adentro. Pero se enjuaga y lava fácil.
