Life saving!!
I have a 4lb, 3 month old escape artist of a toy Pomsky pup who will squirm his way out of your arms if youâre trying to keep him still for anything. He has discharge in his right ear that the vet gave us a cleanser for. We had to squeeze liquid into his ear and clean with a cotton swab. He HATES it. Absolutely HATES it. He will squeal, growl, bite, scratch, and even risk falling onto the ground out of your grips to not have to deal with it at all, donât worry we havenât dropped him. Afterwards he wonât even let you touch him and you could tell he felt utterly betrayed. We struggled really hard the first week and was only successful maybe 2 times out of the 5 we had to do it. The smol guy is a big fighter. Because of this, his ear got worse and now the vet is having us apply the cleanser in the morning and a medication at night, using the same process, to BOTH ears, over the span of. 10. Days. Twice. A. Day. We dreaded having to do it, it was almost impossible the first time around and now we have to do it for 10 more days, twice a day?!.. I did some research on the best ways to restrain a puppy for these things and came across this grooming bag. I figured it was worth a shot. First day of trying it out, we put him in one of his thicker puffy jackets in case he would squirm too much and hurt himself. When putting him in, we didnât put his legs through any of the leg holes. We also muzzled him. We sat on the floor, I secured his torso in my arms, and held his head still with my hands while my boyfriend applied the medication and cleanser and oh my god, this worked brilliantly. Weâre so thankful for this product. Given he refused to let us touch him afterwards and had a mini panic attack for a few seconds after we took everything off, but nothing a cut up strawberry and a nap didnât fix afterwards. Now heâll start to whine when he sees us with the bag and the muzzle coming towards him, but heâs accepted defeat and lets us put everything on without much trouble. He still puts up a fight once the medicine and cleanser is put into his ear. He freaks out even more when the cotton swab goes in, but this has made our lives so much easier and it feels great to know we can take care of his ear problem easier.

Cat bag to restrain for bathing
Kept the cat in but was a bit difficult to stuff lol my cat in because heâs big and fat but it did the jobI was able to give him a bath !

Itâs Not the Bagâs Fault My Cat Is a Menace
This product didnât work for me, but Iâm still giving it three stars because I donât think the issue is the bag. My cat is an acrobatic menace.Grim is our rescue cat who we lovingly call our trash cat. Heâs sweet, but heâs skittish and extremely squirmy. I managed to get him into the bag three times, and each time he escaped within 5 to 10 seconds. I adjusted every strap and closure as best I could, but he still managed to slip right out like it was nothing. Definitely humbled me real quick with that one.The bag itself seems well made and would probably work great for a cat that doesnât immediately try to Houdini their way out of everything. It just wasnât a fit for us. I ended up switching to a waterless shampoo, which has been much less stressful for both of us.

This thing is AMAZING. Wrangling the cats into the bathroom is the first step, once you’ve treated your wounds from the scratching and have wrangled them you proceed to put this on. Now we love that once it’s on their head they basically just accept their fate and know bath time is happening. they sure do love to sing in protest especially when the warm water hits their fur. I’m able to get everything done so easy and fast. Nails clipped, fur soaked, soap on, and rinsed with no issue. They may look at you with every ounce of hate they can muster but in about 2-3 hours later they will be rubbing against your leg all happy to smell clean and dry. I highly recommend; my cat does not!

It worked!!!
I was finally able to wash my 6 month old kitten. This mesh bag did the trick!! My cat is fine and does not even hate me. It went really smooth and without too much drama. Now he knows he is not the boss and yes he smells good!!He did slip out of it eventually, but it was after I rinsed him off. My advice is to leave the cat’s head out at all times. He will panic if can’t see. Don’t use too much soup so it can be over quickly. As soon as I put him inside the bag, he changed his attitude. He realized that he can not move and just relaxed. I was actually surprised that he could not move (walk) once inside. As soon as he felt the water all his claws were out. Without this bag I would have been scratched all over. I think I can do this once in a while. I also used gloves. He still groomed himself from head to toe afterwords. Those humans made me dirty … LOL. Thank you for inventing this product!

This bag just added fuel to the fire
These reviews made it sound like my cat would worship Jesus and listen to The Beatles in this product! That was not the cause. So my cat is like 15 pounds chunky and he fit in it just fine. But this didnât work for us AT ALL. Itâs not the products fault I guess, but my boyfriend and I both ambushed our cat, and kidnapped him in a bag and was sent to the bath. We were as relaxing as could be about it, but when I say our cat freaked out, HE FREAKED OUT. He was screaming like he was loosing in a cat fight, and his claws were fully extended out of the bag and with the wiggling and fighting ripped his own claw out. Seconds later, he peed everywhere and tucked his neck and then his entire body was in the bag so we just ended up releasing him. This all occurred in 30 seconds. My heart was pounding for over an hour of the ghastly screams he let out. Bringing him to pet smart for a 50$ bath will be easier next time. This bag was fuel on a flame.

Worked as advertised and couldn’t be more thrilled. A huge improvement over trying to wrap the little demon in a towel for nail trims. Once ensconced in the little hideout he remained calm and still and barely needed to be held. Might even be a me to manage it with one person alone. Most impressed.
