More than enough even for a 20 gallon tank
Updated review July 17th 2024: Unfortunately, the air pump has passed on. This is due to my own error. I didnât install the backflow piece which keeps water from getting into the pump. But at least I can say it lasted a whole year and for the price, I think thatâs great. Will buy another.Original review July 13th 2023: The description says this pump is suitable for a 5 gallon tank?? but let me say, for a betta in a 20 gallon tank, it was too much!My betta actually enjoyed the bubbles and would play in them but the current this pump created was way too strong for him. Betta fish can not have strong currents because it can damage their fins making them susceptible to infection or sickness. You do not have to worry about that with other types of fish.Because he kept coming back for more 𫧠fun, I ended up finding a glass cup bubbler to put over the air stone. Now I can put plenty of oxygen in my tank without causing potential harm to my boy. He still tries to play with the bubbles but at least he can do so safely now lol.I cannot yet attest to the longevity of this bubbler because Iâve only had it for a week but itâs strong for its size and it does quiet down after a few hours use. You can barely hear it if the TV, AC, or music is on.I think this is an excellent price for what you get. I will update this review if/when the pump wears out.

Stopped working after 2 days
I liked that it was USB powered and had a dial to control the flow, but I did not like that you had to unplug it to turn it off. It also worked fine, bubbles were strong even for the lowest setting, for about 36 hours. It’s cheap, but that’s what I get for going cheap. It was quiet though. And small enough to hide behind the tank.

Works great with a 3.5 gal beta tank!
We use this itsy-bitsy air pump with a small beta tank and it works great! The air volume control is down close to the power supply which, for us, makes it very easy to get to. The pump has been running continuously for a couple of months now without a glitch. It also comes with a length of airline tubing and air stones so you’re pretty much ready to go out of the box. It uses a USB connector to power the pump so you can simply plug it into any nearby USB-C jack or pull out one of the several dozen usb wall warts we have all accumulated over the years and plug it into any available socket, The pump is very light and small, but still feels like it’s been put together well and is a good value at this price point.Happily recommended.

Highly recommend for smaller tanks
These are the best bang for your buck. Iâve bough a bunch of these (because I have a bunch of aquariums.) 7/10 work and if it doesnât they are great at replacements. Either break within the first couple weeks or last forever, thereâs no in between.Good for 20 gallon tanks or less than 12in deep water. Zero noise.

Tiny & Quiet Pump
The pump is perfectly silent on the lowest setting, as others mentioned; however, the air stone itself does make noise as the bubbles exit it, so don’t expect complete silence, more of just a buzz. I would say the pump doesn’t vibrate as much as it ‘wiggles’ in place lol. I did have to superglue the tubing to the check valve as it kept popping off. For being the length of a finger and the width of two, I’m very happy with this nifty air pump. Perfect for my 5-gal betta tank! (All noise in vid is from the air stone – not the pump!)

Very LOUD. Even after letting it break in for a few hours.
Only gave 2 starts instead of 1 because it actually does pump air. The problem is, its LOUD. It sounds like a personal massager cranked up to 11. I bought this for my small office aquarium but there’s no way I can use it. My coworkers can hear it out in the hallway and in neighboring offices. Might work ok for a bait tank if you’re going fishing or something like that but it’s totally useless for an aquarium unless you want to hear it from 20ft away.

I picked one of these up because it uses usb ( so can power it easily with an power bank if we have a blackout) and because it has a speed controller. It is very very quiet and quite powerful. Itâs not very sexy looking but does a great job

La pompe bien ,la pierre qui fait des bulles fonctionne bien et contrôle USB fonctionne bien mais la petite fonctionne 0 et ça fait même arrêter la portion de la pomp.. ça j’ai mis ma pompe à hauteur .Et le truc après aplatiques je ne mets pas entretien pot l’eau rentre dedans il remonte à la pompe
