Non-Toxic & Long-Lasting: Crafted with rust-proof and splinter-free stainless steel with a sturdy build, the chew-resistant bird cage perch offers safer perching, resists wear and strong load-bearing for long-term cage use without degradation
Airflow and Droppings Self-Removing: The open-grid bird cage platform enhances airflow to prevent heat buildup, keeping parrots or cockatiels foot health. Meanwhile the bird droppings will fall through the grid, reducing cleaning frequency
Effortless Cleaning, No Residue: The flat bird perch allows thorough water flushing—bird droppings slides off instantly. Dries fast without scrubbing, great for quick daily maintenance
Anti-slip and Foot Safety: The 0.4-inch wave-pattern grid spacing fits bird claws, enabling easy perch edge grip. The cockatiel perch for cage exercises foot muscles for health and flexibility while preventing feet from getting stuck and injured
Rock-solid Setup: Reinforced with heavy-duty washers, the indoor parrot perch stay firmly attached even during active climbing, ensuring cage safety and providing peace of mind for owners of destructive birds

Worked well for my large bird
Worked well for my large bird – African Grey. He was not scared of them like he gets with many new items in his cage. However, the placement was off- I put them under his typical chill spot and it became a poop shelf. However, its better than it falling onto the floor of the cage.

Good
Very challenging to put on, as the washer goes on between the outside and the cage! But it’s a helpful shelf.

Good add on
It was smaller than expected but it works great we are able to use it and add more stuff for our birdie he doesnât seem to mind it. They came well package and it was easy to install it.

Easy to place
Now, my Budgies are not touching these yet. As anyone knows, Budgies hate change. Mine like sleeping as high as they can get in the flight cage, so to keep the fighting over spots down, I wanted these. They were easy to put in but a couple of the washers could not be used to mount. No big deal, just don’t use them. I just need to give it time so they can get used to them being in the cage, then eventually start using them. Decent price for the pair so I am happy with that if I need more.

Works well for smaller birds
Our budgies and cockatiel love to hang out between their cages and these platforms are easy to install on the cages for them to stand and play. I like that they are stainless rather than painted. The mesh makes it easy for them to stand on but means extra nooks and crannies to clean and more ways poop can get stuck on the platforms rather than falling through to the paper below. Considering our other platform has very wide spacing and it just hooks onto the cage, meaning we can only use it in certain areas, these platforms are a big improvement and our birds really like them.

easy to add to the cage, easier to clean than wood
I got this pair of stainless steel bird cage shelves from Jevnd for our parakeet cage. They are a decent size and easy enough to install in our cage. I got these for their ease of cleaning. They’re much easier to clean than wood shelves. We’re happy with these.

Would work OK for a smaller bird that is very lightweight – wire surface is a bit small for gauge.
I like giving my birds an option in their cage to stand flat on their feet, without having to grip a branch or perch. Itâs great to exercise and stretch their feet, and is good for foot health. These shelves would work to allow a bird to stand flat footed. My only concern is the small sized gauge of the wire used. I worry that my birdsâ feet may feel uncomfortable with the wire that small. Although it would probably be a rare occurrence, Iâd also worry about any rough edges from the wire in the way itâs fabricated. The platforms are not 100% smooth on the sides where the top surface wire is attached to the base and could potentially scratch the skin. The concept of these platforms is good and I agree that birds should have a âflat footedâ option to relax, but the tiny wires concern me a bit for safety and comfort reasons. If the wire thatâs making up the surface was a little bigger in diameter, I think that would work a little better.

Good for small birds, a little hard to keep level
Very excited to see a little mesh platform for birds because mine took time learning to perch on a branch and this lets them just sit and rest up high. The screw washers and wing nuts all work well. And nothing on the platform seems too sharp for bird feet. The stand doesn’t stay very level though if there is more than one bird. It needs like a suspension cord at the corners or an angle bracket. I used another cage accessory to rest the platform corner on until I figured out how to keep the platform up better. I think it’s a good idea, but it will need a little more support.

I put it underneath his perch that he really enjoys⦠But Iâve seen him standing a few times on the shelf⦠To rest his feet ð¦He likes this option⦠And I like that itâs stainless steel not wood⦠So easier to clean!
