Worked well
These worked well for quail, guinea fowl, and chickens, but weâre too small for turkeys or ducks.These waters were fairly easy to use, although I didnât have to modify a couple cages to make the space wide enough for the water cup piece to go in. I ended up taking a piece of wire and looping it over at each end and curving it in the middle to make a hanger so that I could easily take the bottles on and off while also stabilizing them.The only downside to this style of water is that thereâs not really a good way to use them in the winter, it just gets too cold and the water freezes very quickly.Overall, I felt that these were a good value, especially with the number of cups that come in the set as well as the durability.

Easy solution for overflow quail cages, with a minot modification
I was looking for a waterer for my overflow quail cages. I do not use these cages on a daily basis. These are used when I have an abundance of quail that we are growing out for the freezer. Our main set if cages have a watering system, but these cages do not really need that kind of a setup.I have 12 overflow cages and they will hold 6-10 quail. This pack of 24 waterers would allow me to put 2 on each cage.The water bottle waterers slip between the bars of the cage.the water bottle sits on the outside of the cage and the drink cup goes inside the cage. I had an issue with the waterer not sitting flat. The weight of the bottle picks up the water cup.As is usually the case here on the farm, a little baling wire was the perfect solution. I made a baling wire loop to hold the bottle against the outside of the cage. Now the water cup sits flat.These are a thick plastic and I think they will stand up to years of use. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a quick and easy watering solution for many birds.
