Superior Absorbency for Better Odor Control: The high-density pine pellets provide enhanced absorbency, ensuring superior control of odors while reducing the frequency of bedding changes. These pellets absorb more moisture per pellet compared to traditional bedding materials, making them an effective choice for keeping your pet’s space fresh and clean for longer periods of time.
100% Natural and Safe Bedding: Made with unbleached, natural pine wood, Small Pet Select Pine Pellet Bedding is free of harmful additives, chemicals, or artificial scents. This ensures a safe and comfortable environment for your small pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more. The bedding is processed without any dyes or irritants, ensuring your pets’ health and safety.
Toxin-Free and Eco-Friendly: Unlike many other bedding products, Small Pet Select Pine Pellet Bedding is completely free from the toxins commonly found in wood stove pellets, offering a safer alternative. Additionally, the bedding is made from pine shavings derived from already downed trees, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally friendly product. It’s also recyclable and compostable, making disposal easy and safe for your garden or compost bin.
Easy Spot Cleaning and Minimal Mess: These pine pellets are designed to absorb moisture without sticking to your pet’s fur or paws, allowing for easy spot cleaning and minimal mess. The pellets expand when wet, making them highly absorbent and reducing the time needed for maintenance, while keeping your pet’s habitat clean and dry.
Sustainably Sourced and Made in the USA: Small Pet Select Pine Pellet Bedding is made in the USA with the highest quality standards. The bedding is carefully produced and triple-screened to ensure that it’s 99% dust-free, promoting a healthier environment for both you and your pets. By choosing this bedding, you’re supporting a family-owned business dedicated to providing only the best for your pets.
Customers say
Customers find the pine bedding effective at keeping smells down and appreciate its health benefits for pets, with one noting it works well in chicken coops. The product absorbs well and is easy to clean up, making it particularly suitable for rabbit litter boxes. While some customers say it lasts long, others report it doesn’t hold up for more than two hours. The value for money receives mixed feedback, with some finding it worth the price while others consider it expensive.

Ample amount for the price, great for guinea pig cages
I use these pellets in my guinea pigs’ cage under a fleece blanket. They work great to control smell and absorb urine. When I clean the cage, I wash the fleece in a zippered bag and scoop out any wet sawdust from underneath, then mix around what’s left and add more if needed. Every couple months I swap the whole thing out for fresh pellets. These pellets last a good while and do the job! They’re incredible at absorbing ammonia odor and releasing just a nice woodsy smell as they get wet.I price compare the different packages when it’s time to buy more. I haven’t noticed a quality difference between the brands, so I just choose whatever is currently the cheapest per ounce. This one won this time! It’s got enough in the box for two full uses, so that’s good value and easier than buying several small bags. The pellets are loose in the box, which is more eco-friendly, but be cautious not to spill them everywhere as you open it. These pellets were well formed, not broken or dusty. I put a few too many in at first, but they were easy to scoop back into the box. They smell nice as usual, like being in a carpentry shop. The guinea pigs seem to like them. 5/5 wheeks!

Best Litter On The Market
This is the best pet litter on the market. I have been using this for 5 years with my two bunnies. They both live in my room and it is genuinely the only litter I have found that helps with the smell. So many people have commented on how surprised they are that my room smells so good even though I have two permanent roommates living in there. I fully give credit to this litter for that!

Doesn’t really work and it disintegrates after 2 hours ð¤·ââï¸
So i dont think this works as well as I was expecting. It works good for like the first day but after that it starts to get smelly which is so unexpected because of all the good things ive heard about pine pellets. I expected it to last at least 2 days but it doesn’t really. Also after like a few hours it disintegrates into like what looks like sand, I ain’t putting my hand in it to check, and I thought that was weird that it immediately does that. But maybe its supposed to idk.

Bad first batch, better second time around
I first ordered these pine pellets directly through the company store (small pet select) and they smelled like pine and were of different quality, color, and odor. The pine pellets from Amazon are more orange in color and smell like detergent; they don’t absorb as well either. The pine pellets from SPS are more natural in color (light brownish-gray), smell like PINE, and absorb much better. Of course, worst of all, my rabbits seem deterred by the new smell of detergent “pine” pellets. I bought through Amazon’s subscribe and save due to shipping costs on SPS, but it seems like they don’t sell the same product (lesser quality to Amazon and original quality on SPS). Will probably look for another pellet source if I can find one that is more consistent, convenient, better in price, etc…it’s a shame since SPS was a company I felt was reliable and cared about their quality in their products wherever it is distributed.Updated review 05/2024:The second shipment was a lot better and had the natural pine odor and color I was first used to when ordering directly from SPS. The biggest issue, the detergent odor, is no longer there so the first order may have been an older batch or something went wrong and it wasn’t caught under quality control. Glad to have the quality back though!

Small pet select pine litter, wonderful product!
This is the best product I’ve used for my ferrets litter boxes. There is literally no odor from urine or feces. Their cage smells so good, love the pine aroma! I would highly recommend this product for any small pet you might have â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Box half empty
I am so disgusted. I bought a box of pellets and it came half empty. I have order theses pellets many time before and this has never happened. Ridiculous that I even have to give 1 star!
