EDIT NEW INTRO NOV-2022I had to come back and put how I really feel about this because it has to be heard by Ferret owners. If you want to keep your ferrets alive, well and thriving for longer than 5 years…THIS IS WHAT YOU FEED THEM. Every other ferret I owned, before my previous three ferrets, never lived past 5 or 6 years old. They got “pretty good” hard food for their diet. Nothing else. Then, in 2013, I adopted Bubbles. Thats her in the picture. My best friend. She was two when I adopted her. I was sick of losing my ferrets in 5/6 years due to Marshall breeding habits so I researched the BEST FOOD Possible to feed them. And Wysong ferret was the TOP OF THE LINE. ON EVERY LIST I READ. So that was it. I decided that day, I would do anything and everything possible to keep her around….as long as I could. I fed her a soup mix of this every two or three days as well as a really great top shelf dry Grain free kitten food. Heres my results..I just lost my best buddy OCTOBER 20TH. SHE WAS ELEVEN YEARS OLD. I wish I could have had more time with her…but I cant ask for more than what I got. Thats itThat was the ONLY DIFFERENCE in her and my other ferrets. She didnt have meds, she didnt have implants for insulinoma…nothing. I just fed her differently than I fed my past ferrets. So I owe Wysong so much more than a thank you…but thats all I can give.Hopefully, just how grateful I am to them, comes through in this post.Thank you Wysong. Before I started using Wysong Ferret Archetype my ferret never seemed to be very interested in the foods I was giving her. She also had a dull coat and I couldn’t get her weight to come up. So about two years ago I saw this listed on the Ferret food chart as one of the best things you can feed your Ferret. So after giving it a try I am hooked! My ferret is hooked! And she will ALWAYS continue to eat this. Now her hair is glossy, and I’ve noticed it’s even gotten thicker and she’s put on enough weight that other people have actually noticed in her pictures on instagram and now they actually ask me what I feed her so that they can try it in hopes of their fuzzy gaining weight as well! I INSTANTLY tell them what it is and how good it is for their Ferret. I am so pleased with this product it has so many things your Ferret needs that they just can’t get from other foods. They really do need raw in their diets! My ferret LOVES this stuff. She is super happy every time I put it in her bowl and make her a little soup of it and mix it with her hard food. One pouch actually lasts quite awhile too so if you are skeptical on the price point just try it, and you will see results. It’s great stuff!

The only thing my ferret eats. Decently priced and lasts a while. Newish ferret owner so I wish the instructions were a little clearer but she likes how I make so it’s alright

Good, but be warned…
Good product, but potentially dangerous! Make absolutely SURE you break the pieces up with your fingers before giving to your pet. I have had two sharp chicken claws in the mix that would not do well if swallowed! This is for your friend to have a little more protein – not for them to choke on. Please be aware.

I have 5 ferrets…long story. They love this stuff. In the bag there are chunks that you can break up and hand feed them as treats or rewards. When I sit down with the bag I am immediately surrounded by excited ferrets. I make a little stew out of the remaining fine powder or sprinkle it over their Wysong epigen 90 but mine seem to prefer it dry and in chunks. I cannot speak highly enough about Wysong products for ferrets. I have been a customer since 2009 and notice a positive change in my ferrets energy and overall health. Being available on Amazon with Prime just made it even better. Only caveat…this stuff is RAW. It is basically freeze dried ground rabbit…bones, organs, and all. Great for your ferrets as it is almost zero starch/carbs but you must absolutely wash your hands after using it.

I had change them on this for about a month and a half to two months and all the poop was not normal but it wasnât bad either it was just very soft .. I later did some research and I joined a Facebook group called ferret lovers community and these ingredients like the fruits and vegetables are not good for them … they say that itâs in moderation but itâs not because itâs at the very top of the ingredient list .I say no more! From a five star down to it too ! Until you can take the fruits and vegetables out I will be mixing another freeze dried that does not have these ingredients in them!I found thisðâStella and chewy only the good stuff duck duck gooseâ it has no fruits or vegetables and itâs freeze dried !! It is for cats but itâs OK! ðI cannot stress to you enough please look at the ingredients before you buy and please keep your mind educated before you give this to your furr butts..I now feed their WYSONG digestive support which is top of the line mixed with âinstinct ultimate protein duck kibble or chickenâ and mixing both kibbles with Stella & chewyâs freeze dried â¥ï¸â¥ï¸Also donât forget âPeasâ in any ferret food is NOT good for them!This is not a bad review .. iâm just saying that I do not like and I do not agree with this diet. Only because of the fruits and vegetables.I hope that they could make their product better and cut the fruits of vegetables out of the freeze dried.. BUT their wysong kibbles are a must have ð I just donât understand why theyâre kibble doesnât have fruits and vegetables so why do you have to add fruits and vegetables to the freeze dried ? Agh!

Yummy for our Ferret
Our ferret loves this sprinkled on his regular freeze dried food, top with some hot water, let it soak 10 min, mix well and he eats it up with eyes closed. He looks in heaven with each meal for the past 4 years.
