Great product and outstanding customer service
This unit perfectly controls the temperature and humidity in my 3x3x6 grow tent. It ran 24/7 for 7 months then stopped working suddenly. I reached out to the seller and I had a new unit in my hands 3 days later, no questions asked, when though it was outside of the Amazon warranty window. 10/10 for customer service. I fully intend to buy another one when I get another tent. It does a great job of turning the humidifier and the exhaust fan on and off to keep the tent within a 5 degree temperature and 5% humidity that I set. Would highly recommend. For the cost and the outstanding customer service, it’s a no-brainer. Get this one. You won’t regret it.

Works great!!
I used an InkBird ITC-608T before purchasing this product…the setup and manual for the InkBird are insane, plus the alarm was so annoying (I took it apart and removed the speaker)! This product solved all those issues. Very easy to set up, the manual is small and makes sense, plus it’s automatically set so that the alarms won’t sound (for those of you with alarm issues, set the temperature max to 194 degrees Fahrenheit and minimum to -40…. for humidity set both the high and low to 0%…no more alarms!!!!).I use this to control fans and foggers and it works perfectly. The sensor is extremely accurate and updates super fast, just like the InkBird. For those of you with issues with it stopping working, I’d check whether the amps/watts of your accessories exceeded what this controller can handle.Great product, especially for the price!!!

Working well – High Humidity alarm CAN be disabled.
The only complaint I have about it so far is that the instructions are almost mandatory – but are written very poorly.Mines almost a year old (only used for about a month) and when setting it back up I obviously couldn’t find the instructions. You can figure out what each setting does, but it would be nice if there were a sticker on the back of it that explained everything clearly. On thing I see a lot of complaints about is that it continually beeps on high humidity.H_L needs to be equal to H_H if you want to disable the High humidity alarm.By default H_L = 10 and H_H = 99. As soon as the humidity goes above 89.9% you will hear a continuous beep.I lowered the H_H down to 10.0% and the alarm stopped. (I did it this way because it was taking too long to get up to 99%).With all of the complaints and low reviews I am shocked they have not tried to update their instructions or reply to the users with this complaint (I actually came here to write the same review until I randomly got the idea to try matching H_L & H_H after reading the comments.)

Unreliable operation
Update: I went ahead and used the humidity control while I’m in my office and can keep an eye on it. Bad idea. Appears that it has shorted out my humidifier.First issue I had to plug and unplug the device a couple times before I could initiate the setup process. The first few times it just displayed an 8 instead of the step menu.Once I was able to setup the ranges, which was easy enough I plugged in my humidifier to rest it out.It turned on the device as expected but after about 3 minutes it displayed a 6 on the screen and nothing else. I thought that might be the operation screen. Nope, unplug and plugged back in, showed the ranges and it allowed the humidifier to run past its set range.I don’t trust this device at all. Not reliable quality.

Unit died after 2 months UPDATE!
UPDATE 10/2024Mfgr emailed me about my issue and replaced it quickly with few questions asked AND even followed up with me. Great service. At first this unit was perfect. My frog was happy and I was happy. Then, one day, I noticed the fogger wasnât going off at all. I checked the unit and it was stuck at 39.9F and 0% RH. Iâve tried turning it off, reprogramming etc. to no avail. If the mfgr will send me another Iâd change my rating. I would even be willing to ship this one back. Will update if/when itâs resolved ð

What’s inkbird? Lol
Forget inkbird, and get this. It’s cheaper, easy to setup, smaller footprint.I didn’t bother to figure out alarm settings, and just removed the speaker inside. It’s really simple to do. Use a fingernail and pull the 6 silicon/rubber plugs out of the back plate. Remove 6 Phillips head screws beneath them. Remove backplate. You’ll see a circuit board mounted by two more Phillips screws, Remove those also. On the other side at the very top is the speaker. It’s the black round plastic thing with a hole in the center. Attaches to the circuit board with two legs and are soldered. I desoldered it, closed it up, and it won’t beep EVER now.Setting the temperature and humidity couldn’t be easier. There is also calibration for temp and humidity towards the end of settings menu. Having hygrometers handy helps with calibration also. Just be sure to give the hygrometer time to adjust, because the pymeter is SENSITIVE and ACCURATE!
