One of the small perches i couldnt use because it wouldnt screw all the way so i couldnât sandwich it on the cage. My budgies basically took off the first layer of the Y perches within the first 2 weeks. The others were easy to put & it gives the different textures & thicknesses for their feet.

These are great quality perches. I bought them for my budgies to add varieity to their cage. The branches arrived clean with all the necessary supplies to attach to the cage. My birds particularly liked the prickly ash wood branches and enjoy rubbing their head on the rough projections. They use the short smooth wooden perches to sit and preen on. Where I live it is hard to find branches suitable for budgies – all are massive branches for huge parrots. I am glad that I found these on Amazon.

These perches are real tree branches/wood. My biggest concern is that they are so short its almost stupid how short they are. The advertisement photo is obviously photoshopped but they show a conure sitting on it. I bought these thinking they would be good for my budgies who live in a 5ft tall cage… let me just say that I will probably move them for my zebra finches to use. One of the perches is only 3 inches long! Overall, I would buy these for finches or canaries because it would work best for them in my opinion!
