Great kits, really accurate!
These are great, they’re easy to use and I love that they come with the syringes that you need to collect the samples so you don’t have to get your hands wet. They’re accurate too, I switched to Salifert after my API test kits said that there was ammonia in my drinking water. Believe me, the peace of mind you get from trusting your test results is well worth the extra money. This kit doesn’t come with ammonia or nitrite though so make sure you pick those up separately if you want a complete set!

Good test kit
Test kit is good. Value is a bit high. If you grow coral you may need even more tests than this provides.I got this as my API test kits are decade old, however the test results are still in line with this new kit. Just be sure to store them in NOT in your fish tank cabinet, too warm. Store in room temperature cabinet.

Inaccurate please send new ones
Pretty sure I got bad test kits. I dosed 2 ppm ammonia 2 months ago when I cycled my tank, said 0 ammonia all the way through the cycle. It still says I have ammonia, when I absolutely cannot because I have insane amount of filtration including a Reefmat that collects all of it, and completely removes it all from the water. I have 8 fish with none bigger than 3 inches in a 90 gallon with bio blocks 100 lb live sand 80 lbs of rock, and even live sand in my sump. Says .25 ammonia and like .15 nitrites and then 100+ nitrates. Horrible testers I bought in November, wish I could be sent new ones. I even test for dkh and it says I have 15â¦. My salt is 8 dkh I use two little fishies HIGH QUALITY salt. Everything I test is incredibly inaccurate. API 0 ammonia 0 nitrites 10-20 nitrates 440 calcium 9 dkh 1450 mag. Please send me new test kit. I used these for a little bit and never used them again because I had issues, I would like test kits that arenât terribly inaccurate please. I didnât spend 100$ and still half more than half testers for no reason I shouldnât have to buy new ones, company should supply good quality product that I donât question. Salifert itself should be a great brand, but with terribly inaccurate numbers someone can really screw up their tank.

Confusing system
Directions are so hard to follow and thereâs a million steps

Good test kit, nitrate range too high.
I like these test kits but the nitrate has a range of 0-2-5-10-25-50-100. It is very hard to distinguish between 10 and 25 ppm.
