Powerful Filter, Quiet, Cleans the Tank!
This filter is absolutely amazing I have a 40 gallon tank I chose this filter because I was told for a turtle aquarium I needed to have a filter double the capacity for this turtle so I purchased this specific filter because I knew it would clean the tank the way it needed to be cleaned. The only thing I was not thinking of is that this does not have a waterfall option or a item to move the water flow so it actually feels like in my tank there is a storm with waves and just extreme heavy flow. So with that said we ended up having to add a piece of PVC pipe to the end of the flow part of this filter we cut holes in the PVC pipe all the way down the stretch of the tank which is 36 in so it’s actually probably about 30 33 in maybe 32 in so we have a half inch piece of PVC over the outflow with holes so it will aerate the water while it’s coming out of the holes which it’s doing a great job of aerating it’s still pretty strong but this filter even with one filter on it cleans my tank within 12 to 16 hours there’s literally nothing left in the tank now of course I do not have substrate or sand in my tank at all right now I haven’t decided if I’m going to put that in the bottom or not so I put some fake grass I put rocks in it and I put some other fake aquarium stuff in there cuz I have a goldfish and I have two small feeder fish in there as well.I can honestly say this filter was extremely easy to install The power is amazing for this filter The noise level is very low it’s almost non-hearing I mean you can hear it run but it’s just a very low hum as far as how it works and how it functions it’s perfect it cleans out the tank perfectly and it runs stronger than probably most filters I’ve seen It is definitely worth the money I just think that I probably should have gotten the smaller one but I took off the bottom half of my filter anyways so I ultimately made it the small one regardless so I still have an extra section on this filter that I can add to it but I opted to take it off because it was running extremely powerful in this 40 gallon tank.

This thing has the power we drilled hole in pvc tub and attached so it moves the water great and you can add differt media. Cleans well, very durable well made, quiet, great size.

Powerful, reliable filtration â Just wish the flow was Adjustable
I used this filter on my 75-gallon freshwater tank for a few weeks, and overall, Iâm very happy with its performance. Itâs powerful, quiet, and keeps the water crystal clear. Setup was fairly straightforward, and I appreciate that itâs built for larger tanksâit definitely has the strength to handle higher bioloads.That said, the one downside is the inability to adjust the water flow. In a tank this size, having some control over flow direction and strength would be really helpfulâespecially if you have fish that prefer calmer waters or specific aquatic plants that donât do well with strong currents. The output is constant and fairly forceful, which could be a bit too much for some setups or sensitive species. I have had to return this product to avoid stressing my fish too badly.Still, for tanks in the 55â150 gallon range where strong filtration is a must, this is a solid, dependable choice. If the manufacturer ever adds a flow control feature, this would be a five-star product without hesitation.

NOT for fish
Extremely disappointed. This product should NOT be labeled as being able to support a 55 gallon fish tank. I have upgraded to a 55 gallon corner tank and have had my mollies for about half a year now. My filter couldnât support the large tank so I bought this one.First of all, the output is WAY too powerful! I would ONLY recommend this filter for bigger animals like turtles. This thing could straight up kill my fish. The fact that the filter is not adjustable is just the icing on the cake. Why have a filter labeled 55-150 gallons and NOT have it adjustable?Extremely upsetting and the seller is obviously taking advantage of customers who may not know any better.

The pressure of the outlet.The water flow of the outlet is not adjustable
I think it filters well and granted. I have a smaller tank 20 gallon. It’s just full bore on all the time. I mean, yeah, it moves a lot of water. It moves a lot of water. The only issue I see is my poor tetras are like are like swimming up river all the time. And it makes you aquarium look like raging river. So I thought I would suggest that they make a way to turn down the pressure. Or maybe maybe I need a smaller one I don’t know but so what? I I’m kind of mechanically inclined and electoral contractor so my brain comes up with work around so I took. I bought some of the filters for it. Replacement filters in an eye. Slip that over the outlet tube.And it slowed down the volume considerably and plus it will act like a double filtration.Laughing out loud, but yeah, it’s great.It’s just in my opinion, man.At that thing rages water around

Junk. Motor runs but impeller stays still. If you want something to vibrate in your tank but not actually pump, this is just the thing for you.
