Sicce SDC 6: Fantastic, quiet pump with all the bells and whistles!
Sorry if I come off as a bit of a Sicce fan boy but theyâve delivered another great product. This pump is quiet, powerful and completely controllable. Best of all itâs built on a proven platform with readily available replacement parts. Every Reefer knows that our tanks take their toll on our gear. Even with maintenance and a quality product, parts will wear. Take a look at the parts store, you can basically rebuild it. Plus, the warranty is stellar!Speaking of parts, everything you need to hook up to your plumbing is in the box(looking at you Ecotech). Iâm a fan of the app and itâll work with Apex should you go that route. If not, the included controller is pretty slick! It also has presets to be used in a closed loop. I really am loving this pump!

Simple setup great pump
So just set up my Sicce sdc 6.0. It was so easy to setup and tune my tank didn’t skip a beat. Basically no down time to exchange pumps. It’s only been running a short time but I love it already. Have experience with the ac Sicce pumps and love them too. I would definitely recommend Sicce products to anyone looking for a quality pump.

Quality return pump
Meets my expectations for my reefer 250. I hear lots of mixed reviews about the app, but I have no issues and the built in temp monitor is a plus for piece of mind. I chose this pump over other brands due to the 5 yr warranty and temp monitor.

Has issues with auto restart after power outage
It’s a nice pump but I did not find it reliable enough to use as a return pump. Brief power fluctions like when your lights flicker cause the thing to just shut down. I have watched it try to restart and reconnect to wifi in these situations multiple times. The lights are all flashing in unison they they just turn off. Nothing. No pumping, no lights. Unlplug it and plug it back in and it fires right up no problem.If you want to run this pump, I would recommend using a wifi connected smart plug. This way you can do the power cycle fix remotely.I would agree with another reviewer that the pump does not seem to pump at its advertised rated flow. My Sicce Syncra Silent 4.0 has a higher flow than this one but Sicce’s flow charts say otherwise. Size up if you can’t decide between two of them.

Reliable and quiet!
Iâve had this pump for nearly 2 years now and it functions the same as when I first installed it. Itâs so quiet that I really only hear the water going into the overflows and into the sump. The app is nice for adjusting the flow rate and I like the idea of getting notifications if anything goes wrong with the pump, but so far this pump has worked without even a hiccup. Wish I bought this sooner!
