Working Great for my Mushroom Grow Tent!
I’ve started growing gourmet mushrooms in a gorilla grow tent & wanted a humidifier external to the tent to maintain proper moisture levels.I decided on this reptile fogger for several reasons– Included hose for fogging into tent externally- Top fill design for easy refills / no hassle spilling water everywhere inverting to fill- Relatively big 4 liter capacity- Not digital control / will always turn on when it receives power if set to humidify (useful when using in conjunction with a timed switch or humidity controller / hygrometer switch)- Indicator LED is easy to cover with black tape for a light-sensitive sleeper- No beeping sounds when turning on & the ultrasonic whir is quiet- Sits decently & level on a 6.1″ depth wall-shelf with minimal overhang- Relative decent price for size & featuresIt’s been working great! I leave it on max power and have it plugged into my Elitech humidity controller. The combination has not been using very much water, which is great for not needing to constantly refill or purchase a lot of water.I’m hoping it will last long but will update if it does not. I am being sure to use only distilled water to fill it, as the minerals in tap water can clog the device & also be a nutrient source for contamination to grow. I am liking it so much thus far that I will be buying another to humidify my bedroom.

Sprung a leak, broke completely
Less than two months after I got this humidifier its tank began leaking whenever I would fill it. This was almost imperceptible at first, a couple droplets forming around the rim of the tank. I assumed this was condensation and placed a drip tray under its base.This rapidly accelerated over the course of a few days and by the final time it ran, the drip tray I had placed under it to catch droplets filled with the contents of half of the tank while I was out of the room, the water level rising up into the innards of the machine. The device no longer starts.It worked great until this point, but potential water damage to your house and furniture or electrical fires are not a risk worth taking in my book.

Pretty good
I like that it has a long hose and the vapor comes out quickly. The dial has enough variability to accommodate whatever you need in a reptile cage, which is a big advantage over others that have only 2 or 3 settings. The problem I have is that they don’t last very long. I keep a humidifier running 16 hours a day and I’ve gone through 3 of these in about a year. The problem is that the lid is really hard to get off to add water. It is very flush with the tank and there is no lip to grab, so you have to wedge your fingers into the ridge where the hose comes out and try to get it to move. In the process of doing that, it’s really easy for the whole tank to shift slightly and then the water pours out and floods the electronics and ruins it. The one I have now (the 4th one) leaks if you fill it more than about 1/3, so I have to add water several times a day, which is not ideal. I don’t think I’ll buy a 5th.

Works great!
I have had this humidifier just for a fews months now. I wanted something large for my dart frog habitat. Upon initial setup I made sure to set it up inside a Tupperware container in case it leaked.So happy that Iâve had no issues with it at all.I like the dial so I can control how heavy the fog is. Itâs large and easy to read too. I have this set to a med-low and on a timer that comes every hour, 15 times a day for 10 minutes. This works really well for my plants that are in the habitat too (they are growing super fast! Easy to clean and even easier to set up! Iâm extremely happy with this purchase! I recommend

Leaks, then Quits Working
I purchased this product and it worked fairly well for the first couple of months. Then it began to leak water on the floor requiring me to unseat the water container from the bottom unit and reseat. Sometimes this would work and other times not for a brief period of time. After three months the unit died and will no longer power on. I don’t think I’ll risk replacing it with the same product line.
