Perfect sized tank!
Finally, a perfect fit for my shelf and my Kenyan sand boa! I love the depth of this tank, so many others are so narrow at only 12 inches wide – 18 inches gives her plenty of room to stretch out! I filled it with plenty of things for her to explore and she really seems to be enjoying the new space. I like that it’s collapsible for travel and lighter weight than a standard terrarium. The doors and lid seem secure and so far my snake has not managed to escape. I use a small halogen heat lamp with this – so long as you don’t put it too close to the edge of the lid, it’s fine.The packaging was very sturdy and nothing arrived broken. Took me about 20 minutes to put it all together, instructions were very clear and simple. If you can assemble prefab furniture, you can do this.

Works great as a tropical terrarium!
It was very easy to put together, and came in tact and in good shape. The cable management area works well for routing auto mister tubing, but does not accommodate a fogger as far as I can tell. And there are holes in it where small insects can get out if you decide to go bioactive.

Great for my needs butâ¦
I was worried given how many reviews noted the item came broken or missing pieces. For a non-returnable item, it was a big price for little piece of mind. Much to my surprise it came without damage. I bought this for a chipmunk that we rescued as an adolescent and canât be returned to the wild (we tried, twiceâ¦). I wanted to recreate his natural habitat and top loading tanks werenât deep enough and too cumbersome with the lid. This tank had 10â between the doors and the bottom, plenty of space to fill with substrate so he can dig tunnels and the front entry makes it easy for me to get inside for cleaning or upgrades. He loves it and has lots of levels for climbing and activities. Itâs a beautiful tank and Iâve received lots of compliments! I do not have water in the tank so I canât tell you if it leaks. Lock is good and handles were a nice touch to reduce fingerprints.However, some issues to be aware of before ordering. Itâs not rocket science to put it together, but it wasnât easy either. Took me an hour by myself because of the delicate nature and awkwardness of the glass panels.The directions are poor and a link to a video would have been amazing, but there was not one. The glass pieces were labeled, which was a big help and they give you special gloves for assembly, but you also have to assemble the joints and they are flimsy. Putting this together is really a two person job. I used electrical tape to hold the back joints in place so I could insert the back walk. The front joints are connected to the door panels (I spent forever trying to figure that out) and do not look like the back panel, so technically the side panel is only held in securely on one side of the panel. As I was placing suction cupped items on the side panel (the seagrass hammocks and a plastic water dish) I had to push from both sides of the glass at the same time or you risk popping the side panel out and breaking the glass. I had to assemble on the floor so I could be tall enough to slide the panels in (Im 5â3), but then the empty tank was too heavy to lift on to the table stand once complete. I had to wait for help and then stress that picking it up would crack or break it. Once together the system doesnât feel particularly sturdy as the joints arenât really connected.The other issue is the finger prints and glare. Unless its dark in the house, the glare and reflection off the glass impedes viewing and Im still cleaning prints off from adding the inside items. This isnt a deal killer and probably true of all glass tanks, but the glass in all directions seems to exasperate thisâ¦not a manufacturer issue, just something to be mindful of with placement because unless you put it on a stand with wheels you canât really move it around due to the issues with sturdiness. Put it together as close to where it will remain as possible.Overall Iâm happy and was glad I purchased. Shipping was quick. Box was heavy AF and arrived damaged, so I can see how pieces could get broken, but everything besides the bottom piece seemed to be packed really well.

You have to build it, but itâs very simple!
I and my beardie absolutely love it! It was very easy to assemble, plus it also came with gloves so you have a better grip on the glass and prevents a bunch of annoying fingerprints.My male beardie (who is about a year old) fits in it perfectly with plenty of room! Plus thereâs enough ventilation to help with the humidityAt first it may not look like the construction of the tank wonât work, but trust the process!
