This bird food is formulated with 100% genuine black oil sunflower seeds.
These seeds can be stored in a cool, dry place for long periods of time which makes them an excellent option for bulk purchases and long-term storage without any loss in quality.
Black oil sunflower seeds have a high fat and protein content, providing a filling and lasting source of energy.
Its nutrient content and thin shell make black oil sunflower desirable to almost every bird.
It can be fed on its own or blended with other wild bird seed and is best used with a large port tube feeder, hopper feeder or platform feeder.
Customers say
Customers find the birdseed to be of good quality and appreciate that various birds love it, with one customer noting it attracts an amazing variety of species. The product offers great value, is clean, and comes in a larger bag, though some find the seeds extremely small. While many birds enjoy the seeds, some report that birds won’t eat them, and there are mixed experiences with seed quality, with some reporting fresh seeds while others find them sprouted. Additionally, some customers report insect infestations, with one mentioning moths in the seeds.

Lots of stem pieces and empty hulls. Otherwise fresh and excellent pricing especially with free shipping
Fit my 7 1/2 tree just as it claimed. Very pleased to have a storage bag with strong handles and one on each end as well. –
Seed at great price WITH DELIVERY ð
LOVE being able to get larger (heavy) quantity of seed delivered right to my door. I do out minimal amounts out for the great variety of songbirds here even through the Spring and Summer and am rewarded when they bring their fledglings to visit. Thank you Amazon!

Chloe Humphrey-Sousa –
The birds, chipmunks, and squirrels love this feed. I canât keep my feeder filled for more than a day without them coming to empty it. I got this because my cats love to watch the birds and squirrels come to eat at the window. Very good quality product that the animals seem to love.
SevenT –
Glad I did a little bit of research and stumbled upon this feed. The birds (sparrows, blackbirds and even the red Cardinals) love it – alas, so do the squirrels! All good stuff though – very pleased with the purchase.
Paul –
I can hardly keep the feeder full. Every few days, they’ve emptied it again. Lots of chickadees and their cousins (nuthatch? finch?). Of course, they’re packing up for winter. Bonus: anything that falls to the ground is appreciated by squirrels and mourning doves. So not too much to sweep up.
