I waited a few days and voila! Two little Zebra finchesLaying eggs this week, went to the grit and seemed delighted with it.It looks and seems very nicely blended.I provide 3-4 different types of calcium, especially when eggs are produced. Birds (Zebra finches) die withoutCalcium supplement while laying eggs. They deplete quickly.You can put the grit in a plastic wide jar lid on the bottom of the cage. Also good: finely crushed egg shell,Cuttlebone. This brand is new for us and seems really nice.

Excellent Product for Smaller Birds
I bought this product for my wife’s canaries. It is a very good product, just the right ground up product consistency for canaries and doves. She said she would buy it again because it has the minerals in it.
