Shrink wrap was a bad idea without some type of foam support.
I was so excited for my birds to get to try this! I even showed them pictures before it got here to get them excited for it lolSo the toy is shrink wrapped in plastic. This puts tension on it in the most susceptible areas for breakage. That combined with it being shipped in an envelope was too much and it snapped. I’m giving it 1 star because the shrink wrap was a really bad idea for this type of toy. It’s cute and I’m sad we can’t use it. I would just glue it but I’m so paranoid about fumes around the birds and what if they peck at the glue and eat it?I do think that if they fix their packaging issue that this is a cute toy (with supervision only) and I think it’s a fair price.
