Customers say
Customers find the water bottle works well for ferrets and appreciate its quiet operation compared to ball water bottles. The bottle is easy to fill and clean, and customers like its quality. However, the leak resistance and sturdiness receive mixed feedback – while some say it doesn’t leak at all and stays secured on the cage, others report non-stop leaking and issues with stability. Additionally, the size receives mixed opinions, with some finding it good while others say it’s too small for multiple pets, and durability is a concern as customers report it cracking easily.

Doesn’t leak.
I had gone through two water bottles already. The first that came with my cage leaked from the start. The Lixit 32oz began leaking after a month of use, wetting all the bedding in the cage every night. The Ferplast has held up well so far. It seems to take my bunny a little longer to drink from it, but he’s got the time. It is much quieter than the ball type water bottles.Setup is easy, although the instructions could be clearer. The screw-on clamp provided keeps the bottle very secure. I have not tried the suction cups for attaching to a flat surface. It can be filled while still attached to the cage, which is nice and prevents wear on the clamp that might make it less secure. It is not as big as the 32oz bottle I had before. Without the leaking though I end up filling it as often as the old bottle. The tank’s dimensions, less the cap, are roughly 8″ x 3″ x 2″.Update: I’ve had the Ferplast for almost a year now. It is still holding up well. I had one period where it was dripping a bit, but I cleaned the nozzle out well and now it is fine. I had to transport my bunny on a three day car trip. I used the Ferplast mounted to the door of a dog carrier. Even with the bouncing and vibration of the car, dripping was minimal.I now use a playpen for the bunny. The cage wires are too wide for the Ferplast mount, but that is easily fixed. Cut a square of cardboard large enough to comfortably span the wires in the cage, punch a hole in the center, and put that between the yellow knob and the cage.

Love, Love, Love this water bottle for our guinea pigs!!
I bought this water bottle for our 2 guinea pigs. The first bottle we got from the pet store a year ago was not too noisy but according to my husband, it was very noisy. It also leaked alot. We switched out a couple weeks ago and the new bottle didn’t leak at all but it was even noisier. I mean we had to turn the tv up when they would start drinking. The drinking was never ending. I saw this bottle after researching and bought it because I just couldn’t take the noise anymore. We love it! I did get the biggest size and it is perfect for our 2 piggies. It is so quiet my husband can’t even hear it. He is very sensitive to constant noise so that’s saying something. The leaking is so minimal, it’s hardly even worth mentioning. Easy to install, refill and the piggies went right to it. I would highly recommend the Ferplast Water Bottle. My entire family is grateful for this purchase!

Good bottle overall
My rabbit has had this bottle for just about 3 months. I had a captive-ball type bottle before, and he drinks much more water than before with this type of bottle, which is a good thing! It is also less noisy during the night because he doesn’t have to drink for so long (and the sound of constant gnawing on metal was waking me up a lot). It also does not leak in my experience. However, I’m disappointed that after only 3 months the nozzle has started rusting.

Love this top-fill option!
This product exceeded my expectations. Extremely easy to fill, nice nozzle, and great piece that affixes it to the cage. It leaks minimally compared to the standard glass twist bottles.

Pigs can get water, does not leak
This water bottle is great for our guinea pigs.i tried the standard “roller ball” style water bottles from our local bigbox store, but after bottle number 3, i gave up. All bottle either leaked, or water did not come out easily for piglets.i took a chance and tried this unusual looking design to see if it would work better.it sure does! one of our pigs is a bit better at drinking without dripping (the other is a bit of a slobber monster), but both boys have the hang of it now, and do great with it. we liked it so much we got a second one so we can go for a day or two without refill.easy to set up. easy to refill and clean. good product 2 months in.

Good for a month and a half…
So, I received this water bottle on March 24th. I was so excited about it because of all the great reviews. No drip means cleaner bedding! My previous water bottle for my guinnea pigs was very drippy and left wet spots.Anyway, I loved it originally. Now, I am kind of upset with it. First off, it has started to drip like their older one. I don’t know why, because it was so perfect before. There is always a wet spot in the bedding where the bottle points. Very disaapointed. It only lasted me a month and a half! The pro’s of this bottle are:* Flat front to sit flush to the wire/cage. No silly wires to hold a tub, it just sits there with the little yellow screw (comes with suction cups too).* Top load makes this great/convenient for quick refills of water.* Advertised to be no drip, which was true for about a month and a half for me. Not sure if my item was just defective or not but I am considering giving it another shot with a new one.* It’s pretty well made with a durable, tough plastic. The cons of the bottle are:* Stopped working in about a month in a half. Is dripping like a more traditional water bottle.* The yellow screw was difficult to remove the last time I tried to change the spot for the bottle, which resulted in me stripping it. Now it is permanently in one spot, I cann’t remove it until I am ready for a whole new bottle system. So really, the pros outweight the cons in number, but if it’s just going to become a dripped in just a matter of itme, is it really worth the $15? I don’t think so. I will update my review when I retry this.

Pas très fan, je trouve le produit fragile. Mes cochons d’Inde ne l’ont pas spécialement apprécié.

We have now bought two of these, although after a massive price increase here, only the first one from here. Both have worked beautifully and the animals are drinking from them. The only minor issue is that if you get any contamination in the bottle you will need to go to the effort of removing it which is slightly awkward.

A mis cobayas les encanta. La instalación es muy fácil, se puede rellenar sin quitar de la jaula y es muy fácil de limpiar.
